Jessica believes therapy should be a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and empowered. She takes a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. Jessica is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), blending these techniques with creative modalities like mindfulness, improvisational exercises, and art/music therapy to help you discover new pathways to healing.
With a Master’s in Social Work from San Diego State University and an undergraduate degree in Molecular Environmental Biology, Jessica’s background is as unique as her approach. Her experience as a museum data scientist, caregiver, and full-spectrum doula enriches her perspective and deepens her commitment to helping clients feel supported and encouraged.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys rollerblading, fishing, hiking in Mt. Laguna, and chasing wildflowers in the desert—activities that reflect her love of nature and adventure. Jessica is currently pursuing licensure in California (ASW 120439) and is under the direct supervision of Licensed Clinical Social Worker Patricia O’Brien (LCSW 75267).
