Dr. Hunsaker earned her master's and doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University: California School of Professional Psychology. She completed her Bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology at Chapman University in Orange, California.
Dr. Hunsaker has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various clinical settings. She has worked in outpatient clinics, school settings, inpatient addiction treatment facilities, crisis houses, community mental health centers, and private practice.
Dr. Hunsaker utilizes a psychodynamic approach with a focus on early attachments and relationships. She works with adults and adolescents who experience depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
As a registered psychological assistant (PSB94025214), Dr. Hunsaker works under the supervision of Kirstin Filizetti, PhD as she pursues licensure in the State of California.
